Looking Back - My First "Official" Publication

I am pretty sure that I was born to be a scribe.  I have always loved stories.  All forms of stories and in all ways shapes and forms.  I love hearing them, being read them, listening to them, reading them myself, creating them, writing them, collaborating on them and of course sharing them.

This "Looking Back" post explores my first "official" publication.  I have been creating little books for others ever since I was a little kid and have many "unofficial" publications.  But now, as I think about it, there are many criteria by which I could categorize and/or define my first "official" publication.  I look forward to exploring what some of these different criteria may be :)

The criteria for "official publication" that I am using today is my first "official" hardcover, bound publication with an "official" ISBN number that is in a library collection.  If the criteria does not give it away, the work os my long ago Master's Thesis completed between 1992 and 1995 while completing an Interdisciplinary Master's Degree at Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.  Here - I am including a link to a brief Synopsis / Executive Summary of my thesis:

I will eventually attempt to link to the complete thesis document, but for now I cannot access the electronic copy - only the printed one - so the complete "Looking Back" sharing of this publication will have to wait for another day.  For me, right here, right now in this moment, sharing this piece needs to be enough.

I am actually on a journey of learning and part of what I need to learn is when enough is enough - I never seem to know or have sense enough to stop on my own volition - there always seems to be "just one more little thing..."  This blog exploration will be an important part of my "enough is enough" exploration - apparently a good blog post is relatively brief - only a couple of paragraphs...I will have to analyze the readability of this post at a later time to see how I did (I have my suspicions that I erred on the long side - again - but I do have to start somewhere and awareness is the first part of any journey :)

That is all for me for now.  Take gentle care,
